NEW PGA TOUR TOURNAMENT COVID-19 MASK POLICY:
As of May 19, 2021 the PGA TOUR has updated its Tournament COVID-19 Mask Policy to reflect the CDC’s new guidance relative to fully vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. Please review the following information regarding mask policies, which will apply at this year’s Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide, continue to monitor the Memorial's website and social media channels for updates.

Fully Vaccinated Individuals:
Per CDC guidelines, fully vaccinated individuals are not required to wear a mask indoors or outdoors unless otherwise mandated by state or local law or regulations. If you are *fully vaccinated, you will not be required to wear a mask at the Memorial Tournament.

Unvaccinated Individuals:
Per CDC guidelines, unvaccinated individuals should wear a mask indoors at all times and outdoors when they cannot be socially distant or as otherwise mandated by state or local law or regulations. If you are not fully vaccinated, you should continue to wear a mask and socially distance at the Memorial Tournament per CDC guidance and current orders from the Ohio Department of Health.

Individuals are considered fully vaccinated:

  • Two (2) weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or
  • Two (2) weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine
  • For clarity, the second dose with Pfizer or Moderna or single dose with J&J would be considered Day Zero and fully vaccinated would be considered on Day 15

If you don’t meet these requirements, regardless of your age, you are NOT fully vaccinated. As such, you should be taking all necessary precautions following CDC guidance and the current Ohio Department of Health orders.

BADGE SALES

Badge sales for the 2021 Memorial Tournament opened on October 1, 2020 and were put on hold March 19, 2021. Currently, badge sales remain suspended. The Tournament has worked closely with the State of Ohio, Franklin County and PGA TOUR to determine a mutually agreeable attendance plan, given significant consideration to the current pandemic environment. The Memorial Tournament remains committed to the wellbeing of all involved with the event, and the greater Columbus community, and will continue to ensure that health and safety protocols remain a top priority at this year’s Memorial.

On May 21, 2021 the Memorial Tournament, per CDC recommendations and in cooperation with the PGA TOUR and State and local guidance, opened weekly badge sales on a limited basis to individuals on the Tournament's official Waiting List.
