Tournament officials announced today that 2009 Memorial winner and World No. 1 Tiger Woods will compete in the 35th Memorial Tournament presented by Morgan Stanley May 31-June 6 at Muirfield Village Golf Club. Woods will be making his 11th appearance at the Memorial and returning to defend his 2009 final-round come-from-behind victory. He has recorded seven top-10 finishes at Muirfield Village and has never missed the cut. Woods is the only four-time winner of the Memorial and holds the only sub-70 scoring average in Tournament history at 69.53. He also holds the record for low back-to-back rounds with 63-65 during Rounds 2 and 3 in 2000, and he ranks No. 1 on the Memorial's career money list with more than $3.8 million in earnings.
