COVID-19 Protocol FAQs

Do I need to wear a mask to the Tournament?
Non-surgical masks are required, upon entry, for all attendees, with the exempted exceptions recognized, and are to be worn at all times while on property, except when actively consuming food or beverage. Note: Masks will be issued to individuals who do not have one.

How has Tournament entry changed?
Upon entry to the Tournament, all patrons will be required to wear a mask and maintain 6-feet of separation with their fellow patrons while passing through all entrances. 

Can I bring my own hand sanitizer into the Tournament?
Yes, patrons may bring their own hand sanitizer up to 2 ounces in size. Sanitizer dispensers will be located throughout the property for convenient access.

Do Tournament golf shops and concessions accept cash?
No, all point of sale locations, including Tournament golf shops and concessions, will be operated as cashless, with required credit card swiping or tap technology in place. All major credit cards are accepted.

Will there be social distancing at the Tournament?
Yes, all attendees will be encouraged to recognize social distancing when navigating the grounds, unless with members of the same family.

Is parking different for the 2021 Memorial Tournament?
Parking will still be provided free of charge at designated lots adjacent to Muirfield Village Golf Club. Parking will also be available at the Columbus Zoo Lot again this year, Thursday - Sunday with complimentary shuttles to and from the Tournament's main entrance.

Are shuttles available this year?
Complimentary shuttles will be offered from the Columbus Zoo Lot again this year, Thursday - Sunday service to and from the Tournament's main entrance.

General Tournament FAQs

No, we do not sell single day tickets to the Memorial Tournament. Our tickets are full-week passes, valid Monday - Sunday and are transferable so they can be shared among friends and family. Badge sales for the 2021 Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide remain suspended at this time. 

The final field of competitors will be released the Friday prior to Tournament week. They will be posted on our website.

Gates open at 7 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Gates open at 6:30 a.m. on Thursday and Friday. Click here to view the complete Schedule of Events.

Badge sales for the 2021 Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide remain suspended at this time. The Tournament has worked closely with the State of Ohio, Franklin County and PGA TOUR to determine a mutually agreeable attendance plan, given significant consideration to the current pandemic environment. The Memorial Tournament remains committed to the wellbeing of all involved with the event, and the greater Columbus community, and will continue to ensure that health and safety protocols remain a top priority at this year’s Memorial.

Tickets will not be available for purchase at the Tournament entrances for the 2021 Memorial. 

All patrons, regardless of age, will require a ticket for entry. Complimentary junior tickets will not be provided at the Tournament entrances and are no longer available. However, any junior tickets reserved in advance with existing badge orders will be honored for the 2021 Tournament. 

PLEASE NOTE: Children must have a Memorial Pavilion or Golden Bear Club ticket to enter these respective venues. The junior ticket will not provide access to these upgraded locations.

  • Devices must be on silent at all times; flash may not be used.
  • Devices may be used to capture video, audio and photos (content) in all areas throughout Tournament week.
  • Content may be used for personal purposes (e.g., personal social media); no commercial use.
  • No live streaming or real-time coverage (e.g., no shot-by-shot coverage).
  • Data use (e.g., texting) is permitted in all areas throughout Tournament week.
  • Phone calls are allowed only in designated areas.
  • Please be respectful of play and do not interfere with players, caddies or media.
  • All posted signage and instructions from Tournament staff must be observed.
  • Failure to comply with this policy may result in revocation of your ticket.

To ensure an enjoyable experience for fans and the proper competitive environment for players, the Memorial Tournament reserves the right to confiscate phones or devices from violators of this policy. Confiscated phones can be retrieved at the completion of play at Lost and Found located on the service drive at the Patron Information tent.

Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted on the course

Patrons are not permitted to bring food or beverage onto the Tournament grounds. Exception: Baby formula/food - Child must be with parent. Click here for more information in our Policies & Prohibited Items section.

Patrons are permitted to use umbrellas (without the sleeve) on the golf course -- not to exceed the size of a standard golf umbrella. 
Wheelchairs are not available for rent.

ATM machines will NOT be available on property at the 2021 Memorial Tournament. All concessions and retail purchases will require credit card or debit card payment*, no cash will be exchanged on property. 

*All major credit cards accepted. 

Yes. Lost and Found is located just inside the main Tournament entrance at the Patron Information tent.

Course maps are available online (click here), in The Memorial Magazine, Digital Pairings and Spectator  Guide accessible via QR codes located throughout the course, at every Tournament entrance and at the Patron Information tent, located just inside the Tournament's main entrance gate.

Observe the leaderboards throughout the golf course for “WEATHER WARNING” signs that will appear prior to inclement weather moving into the area. When these signs appear, spectators are advised to take precautions PRIOR to play being suspended. If the siren sounds, seek shelter immediately. In 2006 a new era emerged in the over 30-year partnership between Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the Memorial Tournament - the newborn unit was dedicated as the Memorial Tournament Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The Memorial extended its pledge to the hospital as its primary beneficiary in recognition of the 2,500 volunteers who dedicate their time and energy each year. Yes. We offer bike racks in two locations. One is located at the corner of Memorial Drive and Kinross. The other location is at the 6th tee entrance (Dublin Road) to the Tournament near the bike path.
