Dublin, Ohio – Officials of the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide announced today the details of its 2019 benefit concert, featuring multi-GRAMMY and Billboard award-winning band Train as the headline act.
NetJets presents Train at the IGS Energy Benefit Concert presented by City of Dublin is a private concert event that will benefit the Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation and Nationwide Children's Hospital alliance. Proceeds will support the Memorial Tournament Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Nationwide Children's.
With the continued support of NetJets, who joined the benefit concert in 2018, IGS Energy, now entering its 10th year as the concert's title sponsor, and City of Dublin who has backed the event from its inception in 2007, the benefit concert has raised more than $800,000 for Nationwide Children's.
"Being based here in Columbus, NetJets is thrilled to support the amazing work at Nationwide Children's Hospital once again. We’re also excited to give the community the chance to be entertained by one of the most dynamic bands around—Train," said Pat Gallagher, President of Sales and Marketing, NetJets. "We have the largest fleet in private aviation, and it's a great feeling when we can use our global access to support people and organizations making a world of difference."
The 13th annual benefit concert will be held Friday, May 17, at EXPRESS LIVE! in Columbus. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. EDT. For more information, please call (614) 355-5400.
"Community and corporate support for the benefit concert has been tremendous through the years," said executive director of the Memorial, Dan Sullivan. "The commitment of IGS Energy and City of Dublin has been instrumental in our mission to raise charitable funds for Nationwide Children's Hospital, and the addition of NetJets last year as our newest partner has allowed the benefit concert to increase its support of the Hospital and secure marquee entertainment like Train."
In June 2010, a charitable alliance was announced among the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide, Nationwide Children's Hospital and Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation for the benefit and advancement of pediatric care. With this aligned vision, all proceeds of the concert directly benefit the young patients served each day by the Memorial Tournament NICU at Nationwide Children's.

About Train: Train's self-titled debut album, released by Columbia in 1998 was the start of their now accomplished career - the tumbling wordplay of "Meet Virginia" gave them their first unlikely radio hit and 2001's Drops Of Jupiter broke them to multi-platinum status thanks to the double GRAMMY award-winning title song that spent 10 months in the Top 40, and earned the Best Rock Song GRAMMY Award. The group won another GRAMMY award in 2011 for their global hit “Hey Soul Sister,” the #1 best-selling smash and most downloaded single of 2010, from their multi-platinum album Save Me, San Francisco. Next was 2012's California 37, which launched the double-platinum hit "Drive By" reaching the Top 10 in over a dozen countries. They've sold more than 10 million albums worldwide, more than 30 million tracks, with multiple platinum/gold citations, including 3 GRAMMY awards, 2 Billboard Music Awards and dozens of other honors. Train has gone on to receive eight Grammy nominations and has had 12 albums on the Billboard 200 albums chart with their 2014 Bulletproof Picasso reaching No. 4 in 2012 and 2017's a girl a bottle a boat debuting at No. 8.
