An Official PGA TOUR Event

Folds of Honor Friday

Folds of Honor Friday, in partnership with Folds of Honor and the PGA TOUR, recognizes the commitment and sacrifice of military service members and first responders who guard our freedoms and protect our communities. It is an inspiring experience for patrons, players, caddies, sponsors, volunteers, and Tournament staff to engage on-site through a shared connection and appreciation of those heroes who preserve our freedoms and protect our families.

The Memorial Tournament presented by Workday was honored to serve as the initiatives debut in 2024 and excited to announce that the initiative will return in 2025.

Since inception, Folds of Honor has awarded over 52,000 scholarships equaling about $244M in educational impact. In Ohio, 244 recipients received awards this academic cycle equaling more than $1.1M in local impact. Through this partnership, at least 13 local recipients will receive scholarships for the 2025-26 academic year.

Patriot Parachute Team

The Patriot Parachute Team will execute a flag jump on the 18th hole as the National Anthem is performed immediately following the conclusion of the second round of play.

Ribbons & Challenge Coins

Folds of Honor Friday at the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday will also include official Folds of Honor ribbon pins and challenge coins that will be proudly distributed and displayed throughout the day.

Military challenge coins are an iconic symbol in the military. Historically, these coins are given as a token of appreciation, recognition, and pride for service members who have gone above and beyond their duty. Normally, a senior leader presents it to someone lesser ranking as recognition for a job well done, but in recent years that protocol isn’t always the one followed. But one thing is true, military challenge coins hold great value to those who receive them and they are passed down through generations as a prized possession.
