Nationwide Children’s Hospital Patient ChampionsTake Center Stage
Nationwide has a long-standing commitment to children's health and well-being, and is proud of the 60-year relationship with Nationwide Children's Hospital. As a part of the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide, the Patient Champion Program honors and celebrates the Hospital's courageous patients.Following the success of the Patient Champion Program at the 2015 Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide, this year's Nationwide Invitational at the Memorial, the Tournament’s official Pro-Am,on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, will include hosting eight Patient Champions and their families for a full morning of VIP Tournament experiences.

The Patient Champions will receive personalized caddie bibs to wear on the golf course and will enjoy behind-the-scenes activities, including a meet-and-greet on the 1st and 10th hole tee boxes with PGA TOUR players participating in the Pro-Am, a visit to the 18th hole leaderboard, and a famous Muirfield Village Golf Club milkshake. To round out the day, each Patient Champion has the opportunity to tend the flag on the 18th green for Pro-Am teams finishing the hole.The Patient Champion Program is a day to recognize the strong, driving spirit and optimistic outlook of each patient that inspires not only their family and loved ones, but the entire community.
