DUBLIN, Ohio – Officials of the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday announced today the return of the FORE! Miler presented by OhioHealth, a 4-mile road race that will kick off the 47th playing of the prestigious PGA TOUR event hosted annually by golf legend Jack Nicklaus at Muirfield Village Golf Club. The race serves as a fundraiser that highlights and benefits the alliance between Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and the Tournament’s new partnership with Stephen and Ayesha Curry’s Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation.

The FORE! Miler presented by OhioHealth will begin at 7 p.m. EDT on Thursday, May 26. The race will follow a route that starts and ends at Muirfield Village Golf Club and includes Memorial Drive, Avery Road, Brand Road, Muirfield Drive and Kinross Court. After the race, runners and walkers will enjoy a free Post-Race Party at Muirfield Village Golf Club. The FORE! Miler is limited to the first 3,000 runners and walkers.

Registration for the FORE! Miler is NOW open at www.foremiler.com. Race fees are $45 per person during this special early registration period available through March 13. This year’s FORE! Miler also offers a virtual race packet. The cost is $55 per racer and is available through race day, Thursday, May 26. Note: All virtual race packets will be mailed the week of May 23.

All proceeds from the FORE! Miler benefit Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation. The race has raised more than $268,000 for charity since it began in 2015.

Race participants receive an Official FORE! Miler-themed shirt, an Official FORE! Miler-themed Finisher’s Medal, one complimentary Practice Round ticket ($45 value) to the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday (good for any one day, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, with Wednesday’s ticket including access to the Official Pro-Am and Memorial Honoree Ceremony) and one complimentary beer, wine (21 & over only) or non-alcoholic beverage at the Post-Race Party.

“The FORE! Miler has established itself as one of the more enjoyable running events in Columbus and a must attend in Dublin,” said Dan Sullivan, executive director, the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday. “This community-focused race owes much of its success to event partners OhioHealth, City of Dublin, Nationwide, Miller Lite, Coca-Cola and Papa John’s Columbus. Their support has made it possible for the FORE! Miler to raise important funds for Nationwide Children’s Hospital, as well as providing a platform for us to highlight the alliance between the Hospital and Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation. This year, we are also excited to welcome Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation as a new charitable beneficiary of the FORE! Miler.”

The Memorial Tournament, scheduled for May 30 – June 5, will once again collaborate with M3S Sports to operate the FORE! Miler. The Memorial and M3S will work closely with City of Dublin officials to create a first-class race experience for participants and Dublin residents alike.

Race presenting sponsor OhioHealth is a leader in health and wellness in central Ohio and shares a common vision with the Memorial and City of Dublin to improve the health of the community.

“The last two years have been unlike any other for all of us,” said Sue Jablonski, senior vice president and chief marketing and communications officer, OhioHealth. “Despite the challenges of the pandemic, it’s been so encouraging to see how many people have embraced exercise, such as running or walking, making that part of daily routines. OhioHealth is proud to once again serve as the presenting sponsor of the FORE! Miler. It’s a chance for people to come together, which has so many physical and mental benefits. This event is a great community tradition, and all of us at OhioHealth remain committed to working each day to be your trusted health partner with a continued emphasis on safety for everyone.”
